Happy Tech Tip Tuesday!

It's almost the end of June and Quarter 2, which means it's time to focus on July (and Quarter 3). In order to achieve this, planning and strategy must take place. When you think about your plans for July and Quarter 3, what comes to mind? Do you want to finally start your business? Do you want to finally launch your website? Do you finally want to launch that course? All of these questions require planning and strategy. Here are the 3 reasons why you need a organizational (or project) management system for your business:

  1. Planning: The planning stage is so important for starting, growing, or re-branding your business. In order to know what you want, brainstorming has to take place. After the brainstorming takes place, the planning must commence. In the planning stage, you can use an organizational management tool to organize your planning efforts so that you can begin execution. Additionally, when curating your content for the week or month planning is very important. Another great way to use a system to achieve this goal.
  2. Execution: Having a system in place for your content, strategy, or goals will allow you to take massive action towards execution. When it's time to focus on execution, we should be looking back at our plan (in our system) to determine of where to start first. Taking things one goal at a time is reasonable and achievable based on the planning behind it. We can talk all day about things we want to accomplish but if we won't plan and execute it's just all talk.
  3. Accountability: Creating the plan and taking action are a huge part of strategy for our business. A bigger part is being accountable for the things we decided to implement. Just because we planned it doesn't mean we will execute it. Having a system in place can serve as a reminder to be accountable for the goals we wish to accomplish. You can receive notifications (via email or apps) that can keep you on track and accountable to the things you want to achieve. Who wouldn't love technology for that?!

Next week will be the end of June and beginning of July (also end of Q2 and beginning of Q3). It's time to utilize technology to help us achieve our goals and create a winning execution in our businesses.
